Mount Dennis is looking forward to improvement in public transit in the area. The current TTC bus routes on Jane and Eglinton are some of the busiest in the city. The GO train also travels thru the neighbourhood.
Metrolinx thru it’s Big Move in conjunction with the TTC are developing the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. The plan is already approved between Blackcreek and Laird Avenue - construction to start the tunneling begins this summer in Keelesdale Park (Chris Tonks Arena)
Metrolinx is also working on expanding the GO train and adding a Air Rail Link along the existing Georgetown Rail Corridor. Construction and preparation activities are currently underway
The MDCA is a member of the Clean Train Coalition that is working to ensure that the upgrades to GO and the addition of the ARL are electrified
