Jane’s Walk 2011

Thanks to all who helped make this Year’s Jane’s walk a success.  This year we walked thru all 4 corners of Eglinton flats to see what kind of sports and recreation activities that people are participating in.  We met bocce, soccer, cricket and tennis players -  getting a bit of a lesson from some of the experts.  Gardeners  at the Emmet Community Gardens showed off their early plants – peas, onions, nasturiums to name a few.   Bird watchers, fisherman and other wildlife enthusiasts talked about the Humber river and Topham pond.   We also walked under the bridge and saw grafitti and bridgework art.   Check out a few of the picture below.

Hope to see you all again next year  -  first weekend in May – who knows what new things we will discover about Mount Dennis
